  The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and wentg to great lenghts to make our stay as comforable as possable.   During a 2-week trip to Italy this great hotel was the highlight. The stunning views of the bay of Naples from our room and the beautiful dining room/ restaurant were a joy! The staff are super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a nice variety (including tasty omelettes and cappucinos). The hotel is close to a bus stop (orange/ red buses into town and the train station, blue Sita buses to Amalfi an Positano). We, - The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.

  My wife and I have traveled fairly extensively. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the finest hotel we have ever stayed in. It is certainly possible to find more expensive hotels. But the staff -- and it does make an incredible difference -- was deeply warm and welcoming, and helped us out during a transportation snafu. Ac, Raffaele, and Mar - We had four days in Sorrento and was very happy with our choice in Hotel Regina. My advice would be to choose a room with a full view as the view of the water and Mt. Vesuvius was a delight. The view from the breakfast room is also truly gorgeous, making eating twice as good. There is no restaurant available for other meals but not an issue for us as plenty of little restaurants in Sorrento to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

  It was faultless. Even had turndown service! The staff were so helpful and the facilities excellent. Seemed more like 5 star than 3-4. Cant understand some of the comments on the LetsBookHotel.com site about distance from town - my 12 year old daughter had no problem walking this and there is a hotel bus that makes transfers at regular times. Prior to our arrival they arranged a private van tour of the Amalfi Coast for our group of 8. The rooms were extremely clean.   I had booked the hotel online and didn't really know what to expect. The staff was outstanding in every way. They greeted us warmly and made us feel as if we had just come home. They offered to help make arrangements for tours and gave great recommendations for restaurants. If we needed anything they were there to assist us.
