The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends. My daughter and I had an incredible, relaxing time at Villa Pane. Last year I stayed in a hotel in Sorrento but this was much much better. We had a large, clean room with terrace and an amazing view of the Bay but the best thing was the hospitality of the family and the staff. I can also really recommend dinner in the evening. Villa Pane felt like home! Gianluigi and Ana Maria were so welcoming. Their villa is beautiful surrounded by the hills of Sorrento with lemon, fig, olive, orange trees everywhere. The walk to town is stunning, although Gianluigi is always ready to shuttle guests to and from the villa. Another fabulous bonus is the food served! The Management and staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all from facing and have a wonderful view over 2 bay and to Mount Vesuvius. At first sight, we were we were disappointed with the rather basic room. However, as soon as we saw the huge terrace, overlooking the Bay of Naples, we forgot about the room. (Who needs luxury with a view like that??).
The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - perfect location, clean, friendly staff, free wifi at all times and great pool.
