When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. The place is beautifully remodeled, and the staff was welcoming and helpful in every way possible. Breakfast was amazing, too! The warmed ricotta with garlic was amazing! There was so much choice... including homemade pastry from the owner's nonna. Delicious! I would definitely come back here.
