Giuseppe and his family (they have their own hotel and restaurant M.A.T.E.S) are the nicest people whose we found in Sicily.

Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast. Also positive is the location with sea view and a large swimming pool area. -

We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! On breakfast there were some fresh fruits in a buffet and good Italian coffee. Taormina is 10 mins away by car. Beach is 20 meters away. -

What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania. Located at the top of the hill, surrounded by lime and orange orchards, and olives groves at the downhills, with spectacular view over Ionian see on the left and baroque beauty Rosolini on the right. The owners Maria and Fabrizio are the most wonderful hosts. We had dinner almost every night when we were there. Maria is an amazing cook and everything is made fresh either from her garden or from some farms nearby. Breakfast is a major affair with a wide array of fruits, pastry, cheese, prosciutto and Maria's homemade yogurt. The decor and landscaping is chic and rustic. Definitely one of the major highlights of our trip is staying in this wonderful bed and breakfast.
