  We arrived early into Como hoping we could leave our luggage at the office to explore the region, thankfully and graciously we were able to go straight into our apartment which was much larger than antisipated.   Castro is nice little village. Walking distance to Lovere, which is also a nice little town. Clean rooms. Good breakfast with real fresh sweet brioches. Free bicycles. Take a bike on the ferry to Monte Isola. Lago d'Iseo is very nice and not as crowded as the other lakes. - The team was very friendly and helpful.   Patrizia (the manager) and Loredana (the breakfast cook) were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was comprehensive. The room was large and comfortable although sparsely furnished.   We spent 4 days here on honeymoon- wish we could have stayed longer. This was the perfect location, quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. With no other hotels in the area, it was very laid back, in contrast to nearby towns which were a bit touristy!
