  We travel frequently and are discerning about facilities, however I have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, except for a few minor problems due to the time of year, immediately after the New Year. - This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in.   Casa Mazzola ended up being exactly what the other reveiws have said. The hosts, Ugo and Luigi, end up being family by the end of your stay. They couldn't be anymore helpful and friendly. The b&b was clean with a beautiful view. The breakfast was typical European and guests ate outside on a patio. Go past the left - Our stay at Casa Mazzola could not have been better. The excellent hospitality shown by the owners Luigi and Ugo set the tone for the whole holiday. Their help in planning our daily itinerary was invaluable. The Casa is set on a hillside above Sant’Agnello with breath-taking views of the Bay of Naples. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided a varied menu to suit all tastes, but the homemade cakes in particular were delicious. Highly recommended.

  Sorrento Apartments is a 5 on all questions. I picked Sorrento apartments because the price was completive and the ratings were higher. I made my reservation kind of late but I still requested a bath tub and a lower floor. I figured asking can’t hurt. They were able to accommodate me on both request and I got a balcony suite.   The hotel is perfect visiting the temples, and the family room accomodated our family very comfortably. The staff of the hotel is amazing - transferred us to and from the train station in a private vehicle to facilitate a tight schedule, and the restaurant affiliated with the hotel opened 1/2 hour early to accomodate our young son. Far enough from Sorrento to feel private, but close enough by bus to get downtown easily (10 minutes to walk to the bus stop/ another 10 minutes ride into town). We took the bus from Amalfi to Agerola and due to a misunderstanding with the bus driver got off one stop too late. Angela kindly came to pick us up with all our luggage.
