I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is
perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are
wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region
when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety
is excellent. The hotel is close to the center, so it's easy to get

to the beach for sunbathing, shopping or taking the ferry. The local bus
stops almost directly in front of the hotel. This will be my hotel of
choice -
The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water. Keep in mind the beaches are rocky and have black rocks and sand

This is a small familiar hotel with good service in the relaxing village of Praiano. We really liked this hotel! All the staff was very friendly and service minded. The room, with a very beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea, was comfortable, clean and tidy. It has a perfect location.
