We fully enjoyed our stay at La Boheme; not only because it is in a great central location in Lucca but because the staffs there were so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived.
The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca.

the staff were very friendly and accomodating. In fact they couldn't do enough for us - lending us bikes, and generally doing all they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The staff were extremely helpful. The location was excellent. We had a 6 year old with us and the walk into Lucca city walls was managable. The bike hire arrangement was great and very resonably priced. The swimming pool was lovely. La Corte degli Angeli is a fantastic hotel, in the very centre of Lucca, in a quiet street. Our room was really big and cosy and with shutters (very important for me, as I need obscurity to sleep. Perfect, quiet location next to the piazza Napoleone. The staff gave excellent advice about parking options and even booked the parking garage for us, good service!
Casa Paolina is like having your own appartment in Lucca. Big appartments, so and ideal place to go with groups of 4-6 people.Please be aware of opening times reception: 10am till 1 pm and 3pm till 6 pm.

The rooms are absolutely beatiful, very spacious. The location is perfect, you can walk to everything there. The restaurant right across the street is quite good and convenient. There is a laundromat very close by as well.
Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful, giving us advice about where to go and what to do. They also drove us to the airport which was much easier than finding a cab or taking the train. Very lovely place, and a lovely city.
