Note, that hotel is located on the 3rd floor (!) of an old building, where elevator aged of 100 years too. First of all, elevator is quite tiny.   Assunta was the most amazing host and warmly welcomed us on arrival, despite the fact we got in at midnight! She gave us some bubbly (coke for me as I don't like booze) and showed us where all of the places we wanted to visit were on the map. She was also able to recommend some lovely restaurants in the area, one of which was able to cater to us a... что говорят » t 1am! The room was beautiful, very comfortable large bed, newly fitted bathroom with walk in shower and a TV with loads of channels and a build in DV - We really enjoy to stay at Stelle di San Lorenzo, everything was perfect! The hotel is in a nice area, not touristic and calm but very close to the historic center. The room was elegant and clean and you have a great view on the top floor terrace! We also really enjoy the hospitality and the great advices of the owner, Assunta. One more advice: we had a great dinner at the restaurant "Rouge" which is just next to the hotel!
