  Our airconditioning was not working well and it was extremely hot in Venice, the manager put us in a very expensive room for the last night of our 3 night stay. They were very kind and attentive to us. The breakfast each morning was delicious and had hot and cold foods, as well as fresh fruit.   We really liked the location of this hotel.. A little off the beaten track, near a square 'Campo Santa Marguerita' where there were more Venetians than tourists. Only short work to major sites. We were pleasantly surprised as after reading remarks & rating of previous tourists we expected an overpaid seedy hotel. But - The location was convenient as it is near the waterbus station which takes you anywhere. The room was clean and neat. We are a group of 4 friends and requested 4 single beds which Hotel Tivoli accommodated. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast with hams and bread. The staff was helpful and provided everything we needed. There are also many restaurants in the area so it is fairly convenient.
