We had a great time at Residenza Gambrinus. Since there was the cycling
world championships during our stay, many streets in the city center

A perfect location to see Florence as it was in the centre for shopping and sightseeing. Extremely clean with modern fittings and nothing was too much trouble for the host . It was a bit tricky finding the location and bags have to be taken up I flight of stairs in order to reach the lift . The concierge is only there for limited hours.. But none of this worried us as the location and standard of facilities was well worth it .

walk to the Duomo in one direction and Ponte Vecchio in another. All

The rooms are spacious (We had a triple room). The lift is very small. Not suitable for disabled people with wheelchair - Hotel was newly renovated and clean. It is very centrally located near the train station, all of the tourist stops, plus very near to open markets. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if ever in Florence. - The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and very clean, internet service was available, and the staff made excellent recommendations for restaurants. The location was outstanding - a block from the Duomo and other major attractions, as well as walking distance to the train station. The hotel was quiet and without street noise. Perfect for families, singles, or couples.

We booked two bedroom's suite on top floor with living room and kitchen, and bathroom with separate shower.
