  We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and Catherina walked us to our room in a separate building. She was gracious and friendly and prepared to answer questions we hadn't even thought to ask. Free coffee/tea/treats throughout the day...dishware/glassware available to use in room. Fantastic café around the corner with very generous breakfast included. I would highly recommend this B & B to all.

  I can't say enough about Hotel Perseo. The staff were great. The breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable -- especially for Italy. The room looked great and the shower was great. It is very centrally located near the train station, all of the tourist stops, plus very near to open markets. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again if ever in Florence. - The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were modern and very clean, internet service was available, and the staff made excellent recommendations for restaurants. The location was outstanding - a block from the Duomo and other major attractions, as well as walking distance to the train station. The hotel was quiet and without street noise.   We upgraded our room for a (discounted) 35 Euros per night. We stayed in "The Tower" which was a room on 3 floors with an old stone winding staircase. It was incredible. The top floor (the bedroom) had 360 degree views of Florence for miles. Very romantic and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Valen - Absolutely wonderful hotel right in centre of old Florence. Everything you would want to see is just a short pleasant walk away. Our deluxe room was very big, clean and comfortable with a frame bed and huge couch. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of dishes. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast staff even remember what you like and bring it without asking. My wife and I stayed for six nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
