I liked the cleanliness of the rooms, the hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was very nice and the location was excellent (close to colloseum and metro). - most wonderful staff so wonderful food so wonderful the location so wonderful highly rec this hotel

Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms,
though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually
seen in hotels in the usa. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes
great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and

Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
