  The hotel as a lot of the viewers said is a basic one, simply furnished, small bath, very simple breakfast. Beautiful place, spacious room, very high ceilings, we could see few historical buildings right from the window. Room was warm with a big bed. Location is absolutely amazing. Colosseo around the corner, we literally walked everywhere (even returned from Vatican by foot ). Breakfast was brought into the room on your selected time. We really enjoyed to stay there. If I go to Rome again I'll stay there again.

  Catia was there to greet us and looked after us on a very personable level. The hotel was amazing. For us it had the best view in Rome. It was like being inside the Colesseum we were so close. I am also a really fussy traveller and I'm never satisfied with anything due to having a life in the top hotels due to work. S - Well... we had the view- so there wasn't much more to focus on! It was so easy to find from the metro and the um huge site right outside the doors. This hotel is above a restaurant with the same name. We got a key to enter through the side whenever we wanted. We were on the third floor (they'd say second in Italy) with stairs, but it was no problem for us. The room was huge and I could have held a party in that bathroom. The shower was amazing. The a/c was one of the strongest in my experience.

  Staff is very helpful, the hotel was recently refurbished and the design is very fancy. Location is one of the best in the city, just next to the Coliseum. The owner, Roberto, is professional and takes great pride in the attention to the details of the hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Very near top attractions and local cafés. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!
