  It was only about a 10 minute walk from the Florence train station. Hotel was easy to find & has an elevator to the 3rd floor. We had a large room that did not have any street noise. The rooms are furnished with Ikea type furniture - sort of stark. We had windows that opened. We didn't need heating or cooling when we were there. Staff made reservations for us one night at a local place of sinful gluttony called Il Latini - We were very welcome by the whole staff, mainly by Gina, the owner. They were kind in managing to give us a calm room, exactly as we had asked in the site. Modern decoration, silent air-conditioning, comfortable bed, convinent location and delicious breakfast. During our stay, my boyfriend celebrated his b-day. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at breakfast room and found Gina with a millefoglie cake and champagne for us both! I would defintely recommend this hotel for anyone. Can´t wait to

  First and foremost, the location was incredible. When we first got there, we spent five minutes finding the place despite being in the supposed location. However, this was solely because we couldn't imagine a place for this price to be on the Piazza de Republica!! The extremely helpful staff (the young woman in particular - embarrassingly, having not remembered her name - was lovely, helpful and made the - Hotel is very centrally located and it is easy to get to all interesting places. The street is busy and sometimes a little noisy (people, not cars) but it does not disturb you that much - you just feel yourself a part of a big tourist crowd:) We stayed in a room for 4 people. It was good, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast is basic but it has everything one may need including some fruits. Staff is really nice, friendly and helpful.   Giulia, the lady who runs the place is very warm and friendly and willing to help with booking anything to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are lovely, with that little B and B charm. The wi-fi was good (once we got it to work in our room which didn't take long). There's a nice little courtyard you can sit in (not that we got to in 3 days of n... что говорят » on-stop rain). Also a nice little room with tea/coffee and biscuits etc if you need an afternoon pick me up. Breakfast is at a coffee bar not far away - Helpfull and very polite staff, nice and well equipped renovated appartament with provided daily cleaning, small shared kitchen with non-stop coffe availability (without any charges), terrace for smokers ... good location within walk distance to the city centre (10-15 mins.), possibility to park the car in the nearby garage for reasonable fee (20,- EUR/day)
