  I really Love this place! Wow! Although some people said the photo doesnt look the same like in reality, trust me, my room (room number 3) look exactly the same like in the picture.   The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart).   Nice location, just besides the water bus stop.The streets in Venice are so complicated that makes you easy to get lost, but the Pensione Guerrato is very easy to find. The staff are very kind, rooms are clean. We live in the top floor and from the window there you can see the bell tower in St. Marco square.   I actually had booked this hotel as the rate was one of the lowest in Venice Center, however I was not quite sure as the photos on letsbookhotel.com does not look so good. However, this modest hotel is quite clean and I guess managed by family. The personnel is quite friendly, and the hotel is very central. If you are looking for a luxury, then you should choose another hotel. - As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.
