  There are many 5 stars hotels in Florence. Il Salviatino is definitly the most special of them all. It's comfort, beauty, luxury, perfect location, and hospitality goes beyond any other experience. Do yourself and your compagnions a favour, go nowhere else but to Il Salviatino if you are in Florence - The hotel is a delight and our garden room was more than we had expected. The hotel staff were simply magnificent and were always looking to help us with, for example, directions for days out of Florence, booking train tickets to Rome and restaurant reservations. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the serving of drinks and aperitivo in the library was a nice touch..

  The Bencista is a fabulous old villa up in the hills of Fiesole with breathtaking views of Florence. It is a wonderful, quiet retreat from long days of sight-seeing. It is a short walk to the bus stop to catch the #7 bus into town (20 min) or a €25 cab ride (recommended for luggage). We had good wi-fi in our room as well as around the building.   The look of the Hotel is very Modern and very Chic, it has beautiful art and the location was fantastic right by all the main attractions. The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold items available and as much expresso, coffee or tea as you could want.
