  This was an excellent hotel. Room was large, bathroom terrific, staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff's knowledge of multiple languages was a real plus for those who speak Russian, or English or Italian - The people in the hotel are really nice to us and the hotel is really clean and tidy.

  This beautiful family owned place is heavenly! A gem in the beautiful country side of Favaro Veneto. Everything about Ca' Beatrice was new and luxurious. We got in late at Marco Polo airport and we weren't entirely sure how to get there, but when we did he was standing outside of his hotel waiting for us and he called out my name when he saw to people with luggage. Venice can be reached by bus within 15 min from the Casa Gaia. The busstop is just infront of the Hotel. Make sure you buy a ticket in the tabaccheria next to the hotel. Besides if you are in Venice for a couple of days there are some nice offers for tickets, which you can use for buses and boats and which are valid for 2 or 3 days.   We liked everything. The staff speak English as well as Russian (for those who dont speak Italian). The owner was so kind, that gave us two parking spaces for our cars free of charge in the property garden and the staff was so nice, they provided all the facilities what you need including fridge (to keep baby food), boiled water (to prepare baby f... что говорят » ood and tea). For those travelling with babies or children Locanda Cavalli is the best option. The property is located in a really quiet street, maki - Friendly and comfortable place in Mestre we used this as a base to explore Venice and surrounding areas from. The place is modern and air-conditioned with double glazed windows, very comfortable. Easy walk to nearby "Voltourno" bus station which is easy to get to town and to Venice on. Difficult to get a bus timetable anywhere though with connections etc. We took the T1 from Voltourno to Columbo (2 stops) then onto the 4L to Venice.

  We were impressed by the warmth and hospitality and helpfulness of the owner/concierge. He speaks English, and kept the front desk open late (after 10 pm) so that we could check in late. Our plane landed at 10 pm at the Venice Marco Polo Airport and we called the hotel as soon as we arrived to ask him to stay open until we could arrive. He did. He provided a map o - Excellent place to stay when visiting Venice. Large comfortable room, good bathroom, good breakfast with fresh fruit, fresh everything, including eggs cooked specially for you. Very helpful and friendly welcome, which continued throughout the stay. Leave the car at the hotel parking, there are two bus lines, one opposite the hotel, the other 5 minutes walk (bus ride is approx 15 minutes).
