  The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a charming older hotel that may not have every modern amenity but is spotlessly clean. The location was perfect - very easy to get to the Alta Citta or the funivia for a trip to San Vittorio.   The friendliest receptionist we have ever met - very very helpful. Breakfast was good but with a small variety. The Wi-fi signal was very good. Free parking across the street or underground parking available but no access between 10:00pm and 7:00am to the parking lot. - shower, location and breakfast are just great :)

  The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The two people we met were Lucco and Marco. They were friendly and took time to answer questions about directions to the airport and to the old city of Bergamo and good places to eat. There were five of us traveling together. They made our stay enjoyable. - The hotel appears to be privately run/owned which shows in the attentionto detail, cleanliness and customer service which were all excellent.Breakfast was well laid out with more than adequate choice. Located in anice quiet area out of the centre which was not a problem for us as wehad a car. We ate at the Ristoro Vecchia just 5 minutes walk from theBerghotel - good food and not expensive.

Irene, the owner is a marvellous hostess and gives you all kind of practical information, in very good english. Great value and has everything you need ideal, if a littel old fashioned which is exactly what you would expect in a 17 century building. For a weekend break. I would be happy to return.
