  staff were delightful - so welcoming and friendly Warm, family atmosphere location near Marco Polo Clean and big room cheap bar! Breakfast was basic but more than adequate will definately stay there again - Perfect to relax and get organized after tromping around Venice. Fantastic staff. Close to airport, no worries to catch a flight.

  Maria at the front desk was amazing!!! So cute and sweet, she doesn't speak English yet you have no trouble understanding her. If you want a true Venetian family owned hotel, go here. - It's hard to find decent prices in Venice for an ensuite room within walking distance from the train station. That said, Alloggi Sardegna was a very good option. Lady in reception couldn't speak english but we were able to understand her italian. She was very kind all times. Room and bathroom had good space. Breakfast was basic but with an excellent italian coffee -- served in our room every morning.
