They also said that despite flood the hotel had no problems and they were looking forward to their guests to arrive. We decided go and stay their. The staff at Ca'San Giorgio was very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There is free tea, coffee, and cookies 24h in the lobby and the free breakfast is perfect. The hotel has every amenity you could possibly want. The location is great - not very close to the attractions but less than a 15 minute walk to any of the major landmarks.

The rooms were all beautiful and we saw 3 rooms and were allowed to choose. Clean and warm, lovely hot water. Right near to the waterbus stop. The staff were wonderful! Always friendly and couldnt do enough to oblige. The hotel was recommended to us and we have in turn recommended it to others. We even showed our literature we had to the pilot of our aeroplane coming home who was looking for a nice hotel for his daughter ti stay!

Staff is excellent, always ready to please and help. Michelle speaks perfect English. Location is perfect. Although it is not on a canal, it's only 20 seconds walk to Grand Canal, 30 min leisuer walk to St. Marco's Squre, and 10 min walk to St. Lucia Train Station which is very convenient to us as we were travelling by train.

nothing is easy to find in Venice except main landmarks) so be prepared
to walk aroung for an hour or so until you get used to the location.
Hotel has it's own pier so it is very easy to get if you take a
water taxi or private boat from aiport or train station. Overall - will
