that's an oasis in the centre os naples! we reached the hotel by foot from the central railway ctation - there was rubbish everywhere while we were going, but caracciolo appeared like a miracle)) by the way, naples has it's own charm and i like it, but the difference is enormous on the first sight)) -

very nice modern hotel, convenient for the station as we were travelling by train on to Sorrento. Staff were lovely and very helpful, loved the area. The apartment was huge, from the pictures you can not understand the actual size of the apartment. Upon check-in we were greeted with a welcome drink very fresh. We did not expect to find such a nice hotel in a building.

The reception moved us to a bigger apartment than what we had booked and we were very happy about this.

After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming.
