  Ideal first stop after ferry journey to Rosslare. We were welcomed warmly and given the location of a convenient spot for dinner. The guest house was set in beautiful grounds and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. - On arrival we received a very friendly welcome from Olive.   We were running late & called the restaurant that was due to close around 9.00pm.they agreed to stay open just for us-we arrived at 9.30pm and the staff stayed on in order to serve us.leaving around 10.30pm the room was very clean & comfortable. The owner could not have been more helpful.   Warm, friendly and hospitable landlady. A friend and I just needed beds for the night after leaving the ferry and continuing to Skibbereen next day. The guest house was quiet so the proprietor let us have a bedroom each for no extra charge, and she gave us lovely home made bread, cheese and pickles, also refusing extra payment when we offered.
