We loved the decoration and style of the b&b it had a lot of period features. Finola was so warm and friendly. It was just a five minute walk to the heart of Westport too. -
Wr loved the house. It wad lovely- elegant and comfortable at the same time. Westport is a beautiful town Fiola, our hostess, wad gracious.

What a wonderful place to stay. The friendliness of Des, who greeted me and made sure that my stay was amazing. The outstanding cleanliness of my room and the whole building was amazing. I was met and greeted warmly by Des who took my bag and showed me to my
room, recommended some pubs and sites and was gracious and helpful, as
well as discreet. The room was warm, well appointed and very
comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

The location couldn't be better! We didn't know anything about the town when we arrived and found Elephant Guest House in short walking distance to nice restaurants, pubs with great music and of lovely little shops.

Des and Bernie are very warm, welcoming and so helpful. The decor was clean and modern (and what an amazing shower after a long day travelling!) They also accomodated needs such as gluten friendly requirements and were generous with breakfast portions. The beds were really comfortable and the room well lit.
The location is also excellent - right in the centre of town

A very enjoyable stay, great location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Geraldine made us feel ' at home' from the start, so friendly and welcoming. We especially liked that there was a seperate lounge where guests were able to read/watch tv and make tea/coffee.Lovely home cooked breakfast We would definitely recommend McCarthys

Staff were very friendly and made you feel at home. Was given a choice of two rooms on arrivals, and was shown both room;a nice touch. Will be staying there again. Hostess/Manage Geraldine was extremely friendly and welcoming.

It was very easy to find on the way into the town and only 5minutes walk. Staff were very friendly, especially the young girl who booked us in. We arrived on motorbikes and with the very hot weather and bike clothing etc, we were a bit exhausted. Staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, clean and we could not fault it. Shower was excellent- beautiful room. quiet and warm. Friendly staff,owner was very accommodating,especially with attention to detail about the area. Very clean rooms,breakfast every morning suited every diet and specification and the Irish breakfast complete with soda bread,white and black pudding. Perfect location, also near to Westport golf club, with a golf loving partner the putting green out front and the living room full of golf memorabilia was brilliant,planning our next trip and will defiantly be returning to the Augusta Lodge.
