  Our first, but not last, trip to Ireland began with a warm welcome from Mel and Denis in Bunratty, just minutes from the Shannon Airport. Mel was most accommodating and gracious. Her home is immaculate and her breakfasts delicious. She goes out of her way to assist you, making reservations for dinner or off - This b&b is closer to the Shannon airport than most carparks are in major cities. The location couldn't be better! Mel is the perfect hostess, when I arrived she cranked the electric blanket on the bed (which was SO comfortable!), pulled the blinds and allowed me to sleep the entire afternoon of my arrival so I could avoid jetlag. I woke up refreshed and less than 5 hours in Ireland I walked down the road to see my first castle and have my first pint. Innisfree is the perfect place to begi

  This is my second stay with the O'Connors at Dunaree. My mother with whom I traveled has stayed three times. The hospitality is marvelous. The owners are so friendly. Penny is a great cook and baker: home made brown bread and scones and rhubarb compote were delicious at breakfast. It is within walking Distance of Bunratty - My sister and I stayed one night. We loved the place- it was beautiful, convenient to nearby attractions, luxurious while being very economical, tastefully appointed with beautiful antiques, blended with modern conveniences, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, lodging was very comfortable. It couldn't have been a better place- we felt so lucky to have found it!

  The hostess Patricia,was so kind to help us out of a few situations with printing a form and when one of our party members lost her wallet she drove her to the castle to look for it.
