Staff was really nice and helpful, the room was warm and clean. The hotel is located 2min from the main street and 10min from the center (by walking) and really cheaper than other center hotels. - The staff are incredibly helpful, especially with organising bus transfers, trips and taxi's. I've been once before and choosing a Hotel for my wife's 60th birthday remembered Hotel Holt for its atmosphere, its wonderful collection of paintings and its excellent food. Of course it is also within walking distance of everywhere you want to go. The hotel fully lived up to my recollections and went down very well with my artistic wife.

We stayed in the Vatnsstigur 11 building, which is perfectly located just off the main street Laugevegur - close to everything, but not disturbed by nightlife at all. The hotel is a small lovely house near the downtown of Reykjavik. There
are some types of rooms, incl. Dormitory for 5 people, where I spent a
night. For extremely reasonable price you get comfortable sleeping place

The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old.
Breakfast the next morning was very nice.
Will definitely stay here again!

The kitchen areas are great. The whole facility is very clean, has good
lighting, is heated well and the breakfast offered is very good. One
member of the staff ( I don't recall his name, but it starts with

Very nice facilities. The staff helped us to book the bus to go to airport. We had our own room and they have kitchen for cooking.
In the camping site there is place for taking things that people left before returning to their countries or leave the things that you cannot carry back.
