  The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. Tha - The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers.   Hotel has been re-done recently and has an impressive lobby (with free internet pc's available). The rooms are decorated very well and there is a good information book in your room. The duvets are divine!! Staff are very friendly and efficient in booking the flybus back to airport - Very positive staff. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around.   The Capital-Inn provides good, low-budget accommodation in Reykjavik. The hotel is not in city center and you need to take a bus or a cab to go there. On the other hand, the location is excellent if you have a car and the hotel provides free parking. We stayed two times in a triple room. It was spacious, clean and warm. On the other hand we didn't have much trouble with noise from the highway – we we - We checked in really late which was not a problem. we we dead tired and found the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel. The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. Will definitely stay here again!
