  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel. The food, which we had read so much about was superb - I have never eaten such delicious duck, ever. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered cooked eggs and bacon, as well as a buffet. We had a very early departure and were given a bread, toppings (altho they omitted to provide a plastic knife!), fresh fruit bag to sustain us on the train back to Budapest. We went early Sept which might be a little quiet for some travelers. Buffet style breakfast/evening meals, plenty of choice, good selection of Hungarian food.

  The studio apartment we stayed in was clean, comfortable and well furnished. When we arrived we were a bit unsure of how to check in and were about to phone and ask when a lady appeared who had been waiting for us to arrive. She spoke no English but we were able to communicate all the necessary information without any problems.
