The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

We only had 1 night at the hotel which of course was not enough! Fantastic location, great pool (especially with kids section), a small playground, and within just a minutes walk of the beach. Loved the destination as well, a great surprise as the beach is terrific for kids, and lots of great restaurants line the boardwalk (which is car free). Perfect destination for families.

the owners and staff were fantastic. the price of the room with a kitchenette was ridiculously low. if you are looking for peace and tranquility the location is perfect. and you also know you are very close to some fantastic places either by bus (very good service) or car, (hania, balos etc. ) the little port nearby has places to eat and for me one fantastic bar that looks at the entire bay. (i went in the middle of september)

Excellent swimming pool, and even in August quiet (I estimate the hotel was 50÷ occupied, mainly with French who perhaps like days out so left the pool free for us !).

The Katalagari Country Suites is a piece of paradise just a few minutes from Hieraklion. The place is amazing, in the middle of vineyards and with a beautiful view of the valley and mountains. Our suite was just amazing. Breathtaking view over the countryside. Wine and a few other products as welcome pack. Great staff, available at all time. This is the perfect place where couples or families can relax and at the same time, try the excellent products of the area. Teas, herbs, olive oil, different jam flavours and so on. I would recommend this place to all kind of people who wish to stay away from the chaotic town life.

Sitia Bay is an apartment hotel which has good quality fixtures and fittings, and focuses on maintaining a clean and friendly environment for guests. The rooms were cleaned properly every day and clean line supplied. The kitchen actually had pots pans and crockery (which many apartments boasting kitchens do not have). The manager was not push and intrusive but did offer great advice on where to go and what to see when we requested information. We were sad to leave!!

We are a young couple and we stayed here for one week in the middle of May. The weather was really nice around 28 degrees. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is in a perfect location with lots of restaurants near and the beach is just over the road.
