We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the menu for the evening meal was fantastic and was prepared by a fantastic chef...we were never disappointed by what was served. They are very professional, useful, always ready to help and superfriendly. All of them,starting from the reception guys and finishing by our housemaid, did their best to let us feel like at home.
I did regret we were staying only six days It was really sad to leave.

We are just back from a fantastic stay at Parthenis Beach. We booked into stay for an extra 2 nights it was so wonderful. The setting is amazing right overlooking a stunning beach with beautiful clear blue waters and those sun beds are just so comfy. Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!
