  This hotel is chic and very comfortable. The staff is accommodating andwarm. The gym is well equipped; we were disappointed we didn't have timefor the steam room and sauna! Check out the rooftop: there is a greatpool with a disappearing edge, extremely comfortable loungers, a fullbar, great service and plenty of tables. After visiting the islands and enjoying the warm reception there, it was a great pleasure to receive the same welcome in a large, modern hotel. It took us lots of time to choose the hotel in Athens, but now we can say that our choice was so right! Moreover, ever - Upon booking, I had requested a non-smoking room on a higher floor. When we checked in, we were given a room on a second floor that was a smoking room where everything was scented with nicotine. However the hotel were happy to accommodate us with this change when we checked in. The doors are double to the balcony which is good for the busy street. The non-smoking rooms are clean; however keep your bathroom door shut as the smell of nicotine can come up through the vents of other rooms. The brea

  We chose to stay at Phidias Piraeus because we needed a hotel close to the port seeing we were taking a ferry at 7:25 am. Well they were wonderful! First, we got there early from our other location and we needed to get our rental car back to downtown Athens. They had no problem in letting us leave our luggage there while we took our car back.
