We were made to feel very welcome by our host, he helped carry our luggage to the room, insured a message was given to another guest and even gave us a bottle of wine when we left. The hotel has a convenient location- 2 blocks from the entrance of the old town of Rothenburg. We could walk there from the hotel. Rooms were clean and sufficient for our use. There is also a nice restaurant and breakfast is included. - Close to the city - convenient walk. Excellent food.

Literally across the street from the outer city wall, this was a FABULOUS location from which to explore Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Our family of 4 had plenty of room for a 2 night stay, though we were all in one room. A basic gasthaus, this was our only choice for a family of 4 on the opening day of the Weinachtsmart in 2013. -

This was the best hotel on our entire trip. The staff was extremelyefficient, polite, and helpful. They responded inmmediately to ourrequests. He effeciently checked us in, showed us where to park, and pointed us in the directlon of the Night Watchman Tour. Rooms were charming and clean. Breakfast was good. The hotel is family run and you couldn't ask for more personal service. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were imaculate. Breakfast was included and it was very good. I would stay at this hotel again.
