This was a fabulous small hotel in the heart of a great neighbourhood of Berlin - Prenzlauer Berg. Unbelievable location in quiet area yet steps from the hip shops and cafes in this great area. Location is good, 5-7min to the nearest S-ban and U-ban station, 3-4 stops to the city center.
Owner Marc was very helpfull. We arrived early in the morning, at 8:00AM, but Mark helped us and provided luggage room without checking. Even on the Easter eve, Mark made time and helped us with connecting to internet, also explained about nearby station

We cannot recommend these apartments enough! Great location, great facilities and great staff! The apartment was really spacious and ideally located near two metro stations on the main line running through the city. The apartments manager Marc was really helpful and friendly and actually recomended a Vietnamese restaurant right by the apartment where we had one of the best meals of the trip! If we visit Berlin again we will definitely try to stay in Apartments City-Room Berlin next time.

Friendly and helpful staff, very quiet location, which came as a surprise, given the busy street address (but it is in the 2nd backyard - no noise ets through to there).
Good and diverse breakfast. All in all highly recommended for the no-frills budget traveller.

Being a hostel as well as a hotel, this hotel is more suited to groups and young couples, although people of all ages were staying there. The price was excellent for the quality of the rooms. The staff is extremely warm and helpful. The rooms are simple, clean, and quiet. The hotel is a little off the beaten track (not near an U-Bahn stop), however, the M4 and M10 trams are just one block over in either direction and are just as convenient--less than 10 minutes to Alexander Platz. - Nice and clean room.
