  Stayed in Berlin for Depeche Mode at O2 World, so location was excellent, about 10 mins walk away. Also close-by are very good transport links. Was very pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was, when in our room. Another bonus was free Wi-Fi and also free to use terminals in lobby area with facilities for print outs. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Interesting historical building with an amazing courtyard in centre of the building. Double rooms had a/c which was greatly appreciated in a heat wave.   It's a cheap hostel that has great location- very close to the S-bahn (S5, S7, S75), U-bahn (U1), some trams and there's 24h supermarket (Kaisers) in front of the hostel. Rooms are clean, pretty big and heaters fortunately works. It's a tenement house but it's really nice. You share the bathroom with only 2 rooms. I didnt feel scared to leave my stuff in the room. Staff was very helpful and useful, they advice us many time exactly to locations we wanted and we were pleased with that. It was perfect for those who want to save a bit of the budged in living.
