Excellent location, very close to train station and many restaurants...just a few steps to the lovely lake area. It's close to shopping and sights, too, and if you're not too burdened with luggage, you can walk from the cruise center (we did, with 50-pound bags). This is an older German gasthäus so it is what it is. However, you would
be hard put to find a modern hotel as clean as this place. It was
spotless. My room, #21, was very quiet and comfortable. I also felt very
safe in the area. There is a smell that is apparent when the room is
shut up for a while, but again, not because of lack of cleanliness.

I've stayed here numerous times, love the central location near the main train station and the happening street nearby with cafes, bars and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. Never tried the breakfast as I usually go to one of the nearby cafes or bakeries due to sleeping in. It's always my first choice to stay here. Free wifi. Some rooms have no bathroom, so you need to make sure what you're after...

Fantastic value for money hotel/hostel in a great location. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and well appointed.
