Excellent location practically beside the Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc.. We had three children under age four and it went smoothly. They loved looking out the window at all the action outside. The supply of free coffee and a bottle of beer was a nice touch too. We had a great stay from the very start. At check in the lady gave us loads of information about the best Christmas markets and was really welcoming. It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags. It was really comfortable and we had a nice internet connection (usually it's not that good) for work and skype. -

You should be aware that this is not a hôtel and not Bed&Breakfast (as there is no breakfast), it's the appartement in the city house with 2 rooms and very small kitchen in one of the room. We stayed for 8 nights, during a trade show, with our two small dogs. The room was really good. You have a fridge, and a kettle, and a lot of storage space, and a nice bathroom with proper bath. The hotel was booked with some trepidation as the location, using google street view, looked uninspiring. It is on a fairly busy road junction, but our room on the 6th floor was very quiet. The hotel stored our cycles in a store room inside. Facilities at the hotel were superb ... a well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, sink, and all the basic utensils plus bedroom and separate small lounge area with couch, tv, desk and small table. Great location for exploring the town.

A very practical apartment situated in a quiet neighborhood. No traffic passing through so very quiet. Parking by the front door. All the amenities of home, even a bathtub and balcony. 20min walk to the Dom and 15 min to Severinstrasse with nice shops & restaurants. Very friendly owner who explains a lot about Cologne when you arrive. -

The apartment is clean, well-equipped and a short distance from shops and U-bahn. If you're happy to walk, it's only 20 mins to the centre. Will hopefully be returning next year!
