We had a studio apartment and it worked out well. We were able to buy a few breakfast items, snacks, and beverages. The staff was very friendly but some appeared a bit reserved.
The location is great, it took about 20min to walk to the central station/city (the neighborhood is also very good).
If you prefer the metro the nearest station is just down the street.

We loved its proximity to the main train station (it can be reached in around 10 min walk). However, the area in which it is located is under construction so reaching the hotel carrying luggage was quite a pain (took us 25 min). In our room we found some brochures at the back of which there were some discount coupons for Madame Tussauds and Sealife. We were happy to use them and get 2 tickets for the price of 1. Brand new hotel in excellent but calm location in Berlin-
"Mitte", only 10 min. Walking distance to the Parliament`s
quarter/central station/Brandenburg gate/Hacke`scher Markt,
nicely furbished & relatively spacious rooms with two big room-high

Hotel I31 is a great design hotel in a good location in Berlin. The
staff are very helpful and very personable. When we checked in I told
the reception gentleman that I needed a beer after a long drive and in
less than 30 seconds I had a cold beer in my hand! I don't like a
big breakfast meal, but Hotel I31 has an option for coffee and rolls for
Euro 5 which is perfect for my wife and me. However, if you are
interested in a big breakfast theirs did look exceptional with lots of
options for meat

All rooms have a good size kitchen (with silverware, pans, and pots included) and a balcony. A delicious breakfast is included in the price---who can ask for anything else. Say hi to Hans at breakfast---he always greeted us with a smile. - The appartments were large, included breakfast, staff were polite and helpful and it was excellent value for money. Public transport was very close, very easy to get around.

1, This is a new hotel in a nice residential area only three subway
stops from the zoo station. The subway stop is a block away.
2. Several good restaurants in the immediate area.
3. Excellent buffet breakfast, albeit at 18 Euros a pop.

Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station, with a lift from the street directly down to the platform.
Plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, Particularly liked Tucholsky, Torstrasse 189. Be aware that they do not take credit cards.

I had a wonderful, large suite that was very well equipped and incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally efficient and helpful and the hotel is very centrally located. - The hotel is at an excellent part of Berlin-Mitte. The suites are clean and very modern.
