  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk).   The room was quirky, the dinner was very nice as was breakfast. It was a good location for the chateau. Secure parking was available although a little walk from the hotel - small lovely hotel with quaint rooms and a nice restaurant; location is very good - just one or two minutes' walk to the chateau; hotel staff professional and helpful.

  Centrally located Arrived late reception was excellent. Room basic but clean, ideal for one or two nights. We did not eat there so cannot comment - I could take my dog. The staff were friendly and attentive.

  The Chef produced the best food we had in France on our trip. It was close to Amboise where we wanted to visit. Several of the staff spoke good English. Great shower. The local patisserie was excellent. - Rooms very comfortable, lovely restaurant, quiet, staff very helpful. Used it as an overnight stop on our way further south.
