The owner of this establishment has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Our room was huge with a very comfortable bed & pillows. Little touches like having the fire lit when we arrived home at night, tea/coffee facilities available, lots of books, music & dvd's to browse through. Nothing was too much trouble including good advice on where to eat, what sights to see etc. A very charming residence.

were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters.
The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was
delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right

The staff were always extremely friendly and very accommodating. Our dogs were also very welcomed. We asked to change rooms from one on the back-side of the hotel to a sea view on the front. It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

well decorated. Breakfast was served at the annexe and was to a very
high standard. Dinner was at the Cremaillere and the quality of food was
good and choice of menus varied. It would be very acceptable for most
peoples tastes.

Fab location for exploring the surrounding towns and countryside. The complex was clean and well maintained and the pool was very nice. Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our Spa treatments. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and tips on where to visit and good restaurants nearby. The town itself is lovely - very French and not too touristy. This is a French resort so don't expect everyone to speak English. We loved the fact that we only saw one other Engl

didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't
have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we
needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.
