  My partner and I chose to stay overnight at this hotel for its restaurant Le Royal. In the Michelin app it is listed as 'Traditionnel, Classique'. And that's exactly what it is. Good gourmet food for a very reasonable price; a three-course menu for under €30 is excellent value including a cheese trolley and/or dessert trolley! Overall the hotel is a bit dated but at the price is good value for mo - Our room (superior double) was good and the bathroom, huge but our friend's (single) room was very small. The hotel was conveniently placed to wander through the beautiful old town. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

  After several years of increasingly disappointing experiences in France, particularly in French restaurants, this hotel succeeded in restoring my faith in French travel. Modern touch, feels a bit "cold". But you can always turn on the airco ! You can have dinner in the restaurant. Reasonable prices meals/drinks (or set menu's) for OK quality. ATAC supermarket around the corner towards town. Overall, OK for a one night stop on your way up north or down south. Not as a destination

  The staff were really friendly, they had lots of information/leaflets for tourists and, as someone who has never visited Troyes (but have wanted to for years) I was thrilled with the hotel's proximity to the charming, historic city centre.   Perfectly located next to Nigloland, a fantastic theme park which kept our two children amused all day long and without having to go on too many scary rides, phew! Warm welcome, generously sized rooms and balloon shapes / face painting whilst mum & dad have pre-dinner drinks.
