All new.It' a modern building , not well signed but if you know it
no problem to find. Just look for a vertical flag with a Apparthotel
logo . Easy to join the city center (25min walk or tram or bus 82 close
to the hotel, 5€ ticket 24 h for all city comunication, to buy at the
tram station machine). Kitchenette well equipped, you have to clean it
up before the check in - if not they charge you 25€. There is no room
service during your stay. You have to throw away rubish downstairs,
really no pr. все обзоры »
The apartment was of contemporary design and a must for those on budget. My only gripe was the lack of central heating, which would have made this hotel superb, as it was a little chilly at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is situated in a rougher part of this city but only minutes on the metro from the main tourist attraction, Vieux Port. I as a female and travelling alone with my older daughter did not feel at threat in the area. Overall very good value for money.
The Hotel was 20-30min walk from the centre, but there was a tram just
round the corner-it took 10min to go to the centre and tram was every
3min. We bought 72h tickets for 10.50 euros and you could have used for
all the public transport. There was a cable internet in each room and
wireless only downstairs. The room was very nice and clean, the personel
was very helpful! I recommend this hotel for everyone.
Staff is helpful and friendly, closed to the center there's only to
take tramway being the terminal at 5 minutes or by walking to go at
1/2 hour.Rooms are basically equipped to cook or to heat fast as
well toiletries in the shower.Nights are quiet and resting.Check air
conditionning room not be your next because it's noising...one among
the best value for money in marseille ...all sum.
I visited Marseille in July 2013 and stayed here. Considering that we paid 50 euros for a night there is no question that this place is cheap. The building is newly built and very clean.
The staff is cooperative and friendly and they speak English.
The basic room comes with two comfy beds, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a basic kitchen, dish washer and French cable tv :).
Modern, clean, comfort and well equipped small studio apartment. Great for travelers on tight schedule looking for a good place to sleep. The comfortable kitchenette is of a great value - fix your own breakfast/dinner as you like on a budget trip. Public transportation (a "must" in Marseille) just around the corner. Good private parking under this large building.
Located near the metro and tram so getting into town is easy and cheap.
You can buy 24 hour passes that include trains, trams and buses so you
can sightsee easily. Apartment is well equipped with fridge, cooktop,
dishwasher, crockery and bathroom is clean, modern style. Staff were
friendly and spoke English much better than our broken French.
Very very nice hotel, staff is very friendly, she helped us to ordered the food during the night, and also changed some coins for us. Gave us lots of information about traveling in Marseille. And she is very beautiful by the way. Room is very very nice, all the facilites are there, clean and bright, large bathroom. Elevator is equipped.
The staff was helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast room where
the wi-fi works best is open when people need it. There is a small
grocery store up the first street on the left that has good produce and
snacks And there is a lovely bakery first right off of the street up on
the left from the hotel. I would stay here again.
RECEPTION 24 HOURS. Safe place and good loxation close to Metro station. Rooms really comfortable and modern. TV with many channels, internet cable for laptop, fridge, stoves, dishwasher, hairdryer. Enough place to place baggage, desk tables, chairs and mirrows. People in Reception are friendly and speak english :).
For my purposes, it was ideally located and I could easily drive from one side of the city to the other. Basement parking was an enormous advantage. The room was perfect and because of the self-catering facilities, it was just a bit bigger than usual. It was clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable.
Staff very friendly, helpful and polite. The room, kitchenette area and the bathroom were spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and modern furnishings, TV and the internet access. Good location; not far from the Old Port and close to the transport links: tram and metro stops within a few minutes walk.
Nice hotel, excellent value for money. Good place, you can leave a car
and walk to all tourist destinations in Marseille. Hotel has a safe
parking, that's great. Very friendly staff, comfortable and well
equipped rooms (small kitchen and the possibility to make your own meals
is a great advantage).
The room was lovely, the kitchenette was very modern & the bathroom
was really spacious.
Everything was spotless.
The beds were really comfy and had duvets which is a rarity in many French hotels, and was appreciated by 2 British travellers.
Great value for money.
Close to a subway station.
The stuffs were so friendly and helpful. The facilities of room were new and clean. And the room was big and quiet. The location of this hotel was average because it's away from the city centre. However, the metro station and the bus station were five mins walk. So it was convenient.
It took a while to find the Hotel! It's located in a ok area!
Staff was very helpful, friendly and always smiley! I felt very welcome!
The rooms are excellent value for money! It has all you need from towels and little kitchen.
I would come back.
Nice location, very close to the center. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, as well as patisseries and boulangeries . If you like taking walking tours around the city – this is a place to be. Staff is very friendly and hospitable.
Room was modern and cosy, well equiped with kitchenette. Hotel is
located close to metro and tram and not far away from city centre. We
didn't feel unsafe in this area, even in the night. Good value for
money, would come back.
everything...it is absolutely lovely!!! the great location, the friendly staff, lovely room, everything is completely new and just beautiful:) we loved our stay..and all of this at a great price!!! unbelievable:).
Good position- not far from St.Сharles, metro, tram and bus station. Not
far from centre, old port, Museum. All rooms has kitchen-you can cook if
you wish). Clean, comfortable.
The hotel is not near the city center but it is very convenient to take the tram. It takes 5 mins to go to the TRAM stop by feet. The room is very clean.
I liked the price. The staff were friendly and apart from my initial reaction about the area I grew to like it. Great transport close to metro and trams.
the room was really new, comfortable and dispose of all the appliences that we needed.
It's 20 minutes far from downtown (vieux port) by subway.
worth for money, you have your own kitchen , clean, quite, close to tram which is just a few stop to the old harbor, big bathroom , new.
Within 5 minutes walk from Metro National and the tram terminus at Silo so city centre could be reached quickly. Modern furnishings.
Good location, amazing price, clean and new hotel, room is small, but effectively designed. There is even a small kitchen.
The room and bathroom were very big and modern - surprinsingly so, the hotel looked unimpressive from the outside.
The facilities are excellent, Very clean, the staff are patient and friendly. The price is valuable.
Friendly staff
Amazingly cheap
Excellent facilities in the room-kettle, cutlery, excellent bathroom.
The room was so comfortable. It was the best Budget-Friendly hotel I
have ever stayed in Europe.
Very good ration between price and quality. Nice and simple accomodation. Very acceptable price.
excellent facility , new and very comfortable! Secured parking is an absolute plus in Marseille!.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms are a good size and having kitchen utensils a plus.
The cleaniness and spacious rooms. It is an apartment style with modern living standards.
value for money, and nice staff. Good airco, that stops with window open. Eco-friendly.
There were a lot of new kitchen stuff, microwave, dish-washer, etc.
The staff great.
Very clean because it's a newly constructed building. And very good value for money.
nice stuff. clean room with kitchen and everything. not far from the metro station.
the equipments are pretty good and clean. the staff are nice to hepl everyone.
Luxurious apartment with all the facilities. Staff was good and friendly.
Modern apartment
Good facilities
Friendly staff
Great value for money.
Privacy. Clean room with large bathroom. We can cook by ourselves.
The appartements are new and well equipped. The staff is kind.
Cosy room with great facilities. Not far from metro station.
Good hotel. Quiet rooms with kitchen. Very responsive staff).
Free inter net connection. Everything was clean and new.
The Price is quite worthy. Transportation is convenient.
Very cost effective
Modern facilities
Private parking.
Everything is new
Clean
Small kitchen
Silence.
Value of money, good facility, good staff.
Salt mist on the windows. ( sea air).
Too crowded lift in the morning.
The hotel is situated in a neighborhood of Marseille that is being rebuilt and renovated. So you won't be in the busy bustling center of the city by the old port. Tram line T2 takes you to the city center in 10 minutes but be prepared to catch the cab back after midnight. Its not the most pleasant neighborhood to be in.
Very busy construction area - all new development around. No WiFi in the rooms, only in the small lobby, where there are no chairs/desks to put your computer. The "view of the city" in the description is actually a view to a large parking lot for tourists' buses.
Not in a good part of town, but short walk to metro and tram.
The cover of the quilt is a little bit dirty at the first time, but they changed it immediately when we told them.
There is little going on in the area and you need to take the metro if
you plan to see some of the nicer parts of the city. Fortunately the
metro isn't far from the hotel. It's a good concept hotel
especially for younger people and those travelling on business.
Breakfast buffet price not so friendly :(
No Wi-Fi in the rooms, just in the Lobby
No thin bedsheets for summer, they just have thik ones for winter.
Having to leave.
The area around the hotel felt a bit rough with a lot of construction sites; we needed to change our room as there was no hot water, which was rather inconvenient, but the new room we got was even better. At the end of your stay you must empty the bins in your room yourself and take the rubbish down to the public bins.
Breakfast could be a bit better.
I would recommend printing out a map of the walk from the subway station
to the Appart'City as the road layout is rather confusing, obviously
this is no fault of the hotel's but they could do with sign-posting
the hotel a bit more clearly.
You can use the wifi only in the ground floor around the restaurant, which was a little bit annoying.
The only downside no daily cleaning/ tidying of the rooms but to
expect booking apartment rooms.
there is no wifi in the rooms.
No wifi in the rooms, no room service, there is nothing interesting to
do in the area, and you need to go to city centre for entertainment.
nothing at all.
Very long check-in- only from 15o'clock and very very long time it
takes(. 5 days in my room never cleaned.
The hotel is difficult to find and the area is not safe.
At first I didnt like the area but it grew on me.
wifi only in breakfast room
no sign, hard to find at the first time.
Appartcity does not proclaim itself. There are no signs or numbers. It is next to the 1001 furnishing store hidden behind a large grey gate which managed to trap my fingers! Take care. The site is also opposite an open air pop venue area though this was not a problem as we had asked for and were given an apartment at the back and the double glazing was pretty soundproof.
The location is pretty dodgy. Don't try to walk from the train station, like we did.
dodgy location, necessary to travel on metro to reach safer/more tourist friendly locations. Quite difficult to find.
Hotel is located in little dangerous part of the city.
Staff very friendly but the check-in process really needs to be improved as too much manual work needs to be performed by the personnel, which causes a huge queue lining up in front of the reception. I spent 1 hour for finishing the check-in.
Difficult to find hotel.
The room layout. There was only a 20cm gap to walk thru the beds to the lounge/dining table, which was very difficult with baggage and carrying dinner and balancing our hot drinks through. You also had to clean up the kitchen, take your rubbish upon check out which was a bit of a pain. Otherwise a great place, not centralised.
Loud techno-party some blocks away forced me to close window.
There was no wifi on the room.
The place was difficult to find.
can only checkin after 3pm.
the location is a littele bit far away from the center.
Nothing that I remember.
The only thing was the street name, which extends both the sides of a newly constructed hospital, so we were wondering around at one side of the street. But its not Apartcity's fault.
Difficult to find entrance for the first time arrival, need to go through a grey coloured gate, so its easy to miss on the street.
Not easy to find. 10min walk from metro station and bus station. Only cable internet access.
No shops and restaurants in the area. In general, the area is not very safe so it is better to be careful near the metro station.
Wasn't terribly well signed, we walked past it once and were asked by no less than three people if we knew where it was - we were standing out the front!
Check in is strictly 1500pm - most other establishments check in at 1400 and make concessions if possible when you arrive a bit early.
WiFi only available in reception.
Initially was given a room but that wasn't clean, was rectified after a short while; albeit without apology.
Not very secure way at night near the hotel.
Initially, it was not easy to find. The directions from letsbookhotel.com
was not good.
No wifi in the room.
Not much around
The facility is very hard to find (no street number and the banner was out of place).
Smell that clutch after you get out from that basement (very inclined!).
There was no external signs on the wall of the building, same as the number by the Ruffi street, so we need a great effort to found this hotel (we lost approx. 1,5-2 hours).
Person at the reception didn't give us receipt, when we arrive, but took money forward for 2 days, so we had some problems at departure.
Little bit far from the city centre.
