The reception is open 24 hours, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was quiet at night, clean and airy, and was great value for money.   I expected less based on reviews (with all due respect to previous reviewers), but surprisingly staff was very service, polite and helpful, also room & bathroom were restored, neat and very clean. Also Gare St Lazare was not far away ... and to arrive at Hotel Langlois - we walked with - The hotel is situated close to 2 metro stations, and close to Montmartre. The hotel itself is in an old Parisian building and the whole feel of the place is like something out of the `Belle Epoch`period. The room was very big ( by Parisian standards) and the beakfast was good, with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and a good selection of bread, meat and cheese. It is only 10 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and there was free wi-fi available. All in all a very nice traditional French hotel
