  We are in our early fifties (still 18 in mind) On paper/screen, this hotel ticked all of our boxes, situated a stones throw from the metro it combines the ease of access to the Parisian must sees but still seeing the real city in all its glory. The hotel and all staff were all A*. We are not hotel inspectors but could not fault a thing. Like films, all very personal and others opinions - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had accidentally booked our bus ticket for the wrong day and didn't find out until the day of and the friendly Receptionist helped us contact the agency to rectify the issue. Thank goodness! The location was close to Gare du Nord and easy to find. The metro is a block away and very convenient (just be mindful of pickpockets when you are entering the metro, anywhere in Paris, as a matter of fact). This Best Western is also located 10 minutes away

  We stayed in a family room on the 8th (top) floor. It was clean, air-conditioned, had separate toilet and shower and 2 vanities, great views from our room and the roof. We were just 3blocks from the Moulin Rouge where we had dinner and saw the show...fabulous! The location was convenient to city sites and local transportation. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The rooftop gave a great view of the city lights!   In a wonderfully vibrant area of the city, the hotel was everything I expected. Amazing and opulent furnishings/decor - and absolutely perfect for the romantic get-away at the end of a busy day in Paris. - kind and friendly staffs,clean and comfortable room,original decoration, the area seems a bit unsafe at night though... highly recommendable!!
