  The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille. It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere! Nothing was too much trouble - from collection and return to the railway station in Denis's London taxi to a totally unexpected - Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay. And by the way- the restaurant next door is

  Lovely hostess, she is very friendly. The rooms are very nicely decorated with a lot of eye for detail. Ideal for a weekend away as a couple, very romantic. We were in the 'fire' room and it was perfect. There is a pool, a nice suana for two and jacuzzi. The breakfast is brought to your room, you can sit on a table there. We had the luxury of sitt... что говорят » ing outside on the terrace as well when the weather was sunny,together with cat Azrael. Lovely ! Also use of funny slippers, bathrobes, etc... - Every thing, the hot tub, the privacy, the fridge. Love every bit of it.
