The reception on duty were very accomodating esp the guy, i forget the name "sorry" who always has a smile whenever we ask a hot water everytime we arrive late in the evening.

  The view from the 5th floor! We had two corner rooms and there is a very small ledge balcony that can be accessed out the windows, but only on the 5th. Excellent view of Sac coer. The breakfast served at the hotel is a great value at 7 euro pp, get it! You won't find cheaper in this part of paris. Coffee, juice, breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Excelle - Reception staff (females) were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable + clean, just be aware that street noise carries on till around midnight. Loved the small balcony (had a wonderful view of Saccra Coeur + the street below). Hotel is located within walking distance to Montmartre & Saccra Coeur, but far away from other sites, so have to use metro. Metro stations within walking distance.

He is in the process of doing the place up; and we had the privilege of staying in one of the newly decorated rooms. It was fresh and so clean; and seemed much bigger than the pictures on the web. Although we never used it, there is access to a computer, - On my arrival the hotel owner/manager was very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent; between 2 major railway stations Gare Du Nord & Gare De L'Est, easy walk to magnificent Sacre Cœur, & funky Montmatre & close to Blvd Poissonnere (live theatre & shows). The Metro is very close too but I didn't use it as evrything I needed or wanted to do was nearby.
