1) Location, less than 100m walk away from Metro - Oberkampf. Ideal station to move around in Paris.If you have heavy luggage, carry luggages up and down the metro stairs can be a chore BUT the hotel proximity to bring you almost everywhere in Paris weighs over all that stairs.

The hotel was really clean, they would come in the room everyday to check if you had clean towels etc.
They didn't steal anything from the room
The room was small but very pretty for how little we paid
The metro station is 1 min away and if you walk straight you arrive at Place de la Republique which has plenty of bars and places to eat. Not expensive

The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of two metro stops, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very nice. We stayed at only budget hotels throughout our vacation in Europe and this was one of the nicer ones. - Location and friendly staff.

This hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. If you want to spend a lot of your holiday in your hotel room, I would not recommend it. However, if it is a place to rest your head on a budget, then it is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful and are happy to communicate in English. This is a great little hotel - just don't expect the Ritz. -

Don’t let yourself be deterred by the somewhat eclectic interior decoration, the hotel offers for Paris standards a great bang for your buck ratio. The hotel was nice and clean, rooms are small but offer everything you need when you're on a citytrip. Location is good, 2m walk from metro and close to pere lachaise cemetry. We did not use breakfast facilities since you can have breakfast at all bistro's in Paris for a reasonable price. The underground park-space is also a plus, your car is safe troughout your stay.
