We weren't aware prior to our visit that she would prepare a meal for guests, but we understand that she is a gourmet cook so would advise future guests to take advantage of this ad - This was an excellent small French village experience, in the mountains and yet, quite close to Nice and the coast. Our hosts were so personable and helpful. They pointed out good hiking trails nearby. We had reserved dinner with them, a great choice, as Frances is a gourmet cook! Fresh-picked vegetables came from their garden and lamb from the village butcher. An inexpensive dinner, superbly prepared and served, wine included.
