We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

Superb location and accommodation, the home made cakes for breakfast, plenty of advice given on what to see locally, flexibility and friendliness on booking in later than we'd planned, the free car parking very close by, we all had a lovely stay. Great base for exploring Carcassonne if you have a car. Pool was a big bonus for our little ones. Lovely gardens to sit outside. Supermarket within walking distance. Alex was a great host. -

Apartments are really good and very clean, Isabelle asks to keep them as they are.
Great castle view from 2rd floor, 2 bedrooms, easily suitable not only for 5-6, but for 8 persons to stay in comfort. Washing machine and electric dryer.
Great locals on the ground floor to help you, chat and drink wine.

Very quite as well with small local tabac and shops for the necessities.....fantastic croissants. Our "landlady" Isabel made us very welcome and was very helpful. We will be back.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were nice, clean and looked new. The hotel is a bit outside the city, but excellent location if you have a car as it is next to a large shopping center and a short drive to the historic Carcassonne. It was more like a U.S. motel than any of the 20+ hotels where we have
stayed in Spain and France. Because we were traveling by car, this was
wonderful! It was an easy drive from the hotel to La Cité and the
castle. If you are not driving to Cascassonne, this is not where you
want to stay. The hotel is new and spacious.

Charming B&B just 1 km outside Carcassonne and perfect for visiting La Cite. Isolated position but all the facilities needed. Plenty of places to eat in old Carcassonne itself and not too far to walk to La Cite if you're feeling energetic. Excellent breakfast. Overall very good value. Would use again if in the area. -

Modern hotel close to airport and 10 minutes drive to old walled city. We used as a stop over en route and it was perfect for that. Room was small but comfortable and very clean with good shower and facilties. Good value breakfast. -

Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.
