  This is a budget hotel with good but basic facilities. It is close to the autoroute (but you don't hear the traffic (nor the other occupants) as the rooms are soundproofed). The rooms are clean.   This is a clean, cozy bed and breakfast situated in Pau, a tiny historic city in the heart of Pyre´nee´s-Atlantiques, on the banks of Gave de Pau a tributary of the River Ardour. The bed and breakfast is run by a wonderful couple, communicating with us in spite of our rather rudimentary French giving us a lots of information about the place and ... что говорят » ways to get around, including lending us their detailed road maps, tips and warnings about weather, tour de France, other issues, in short treating us - The hotel was brilliant and the owners were efficient & friendly. The owner was also english speaking and he helped a lot with directions & where to visit as we wanted to see a mountain stage of Le Tour de France. Free off street parking was a great bonus plus a safe place to keep our bicycle. Nothing was too much trouble.
