  As this trip included both business and leisure considerations, the hotel was ideal for business access & commuting by train into Cannes, as well as for relaxation by the beach, excellent shopping & good restaurants in the evening. The staff were extremely helpful in all aspects.   Boutique feel with friendly staff. Beautiful gardens / outdoor space. Secluded but not remote. All rooms overlook pool or gardens so no "bad" rooms. Minimalist rooms with colour splashes on white decor no bath but very modern facilities and comfy beds. We did have problems finding LaVague, and after putting in the museum in my GPS we saw the signs and arrived. The staff was so nice and our room was very nice. A small problem was handled quickly. I would stay there again.

We did not have that problem at all at the Hotel Ambassadeur and everyone was so friendly. - Despite it being peak season and it being a fairly large hotel, there was plenty of room to move around freely and not feel cramped
